Server Security Assessment
Exposed services and weak server settings can put applications and business records at risk. We assess the agreed hosts and access model to identify patching, configuration and hardening priorities for your IT team.
What We Can Assess.
We select relevant checks for your systems. Your proposal confirms what is included and what is excluded.
Service Exposure
Reachable services and unnecessary exposure on agreed hosts.
Patches and Vulnerabilities
Relevant patch levels and known vulnerabilities, with validation appropriate to the scope.
Administration and Settings
Remote administration, access settings and configuration checks where access is provided.
Hardening Priorities
Practical hardening recommendations with evidence and testing limitations.
Before Testing Starts.
Access and Preparation
Provide the authorised host list, operating systems, environment details and maintenance constraints. Confirm external-only or credentialed access, the testing window and a contact who can respond if a system behaves unexpectedly.
Scope and Limits
Coverage depends on access and host availability. Patching, configuration changes, cloud architecture reviews and application testing are separate work unless included in the proposal.
Findings Your Team Can Use.
Your agreed deliverables can include a management summary, technical findings with evidence and recommended fixes, and results from agreed retests. The proposal defines testing depth, retest coverage, time limits and any additional fees. Your team implements changes unless implementation support is separately agreed.
